The right teacher is something you have to pick. If your intuition is not helping you then take it from a logical perspective first. Experience is important, how much does the reiki master have? How real and honest do they seem to you? How much success have they had? Are they founders of their own systems? Do they strengthen the effect by combining other energies? How professional do they come across to you?
You will probably know right away which master is right for you to do your reiki attunement if you can trust your intuition. Your intuition might say no too, so follow this instead. It should be 100%, if not you might want to think about it. There might be a karma issue too. You might want to mentally forgive the master for past aggressions, and sending them gratitude.
You can test once more to see if that teacher is right for you.
Still under 100%? Find a different teacher.
