Surveillance is an organized and keen observation of things, persons and places to get necessary and vital infos. If you would love to be your own PI, you can use the most common combination of mobile and stationary schemes. Stationary when the subject or target have made no appearance before mobile surveillance is needed. Here are the details you may need to practice your own PI instincts.

1) Preparation — After determining the target, one should gather a case history investigation information. You can try driving to the area before having the surveillance, examine every angle and corners where the subject might pass and which path the subject usually takes. You should note down activities and exact time when the target is on the move.
